Agate Project is a not-for-profit company that offers a range of education opportunities for professionals, researchers and students based in Africa in the field of earth and planetary sciences.
Starting in 2006, a team of researchers at the Institute de Recherche pour Le Developpement in Toulouse founded a research and capacity building network the West African exploration initiative with a focus on the tectonics and metallogenesis of West Africa. As the demand for training and research opportunities has only increased, we have launched an independent not for profit company based in Perth, Australia to undertake and develop these activities.
