In order to define an Lineation event, place an Lineation icon in the History window. You will then be provided with the Lineation definition window.
Lineation Definition Window
Lineations allows arbitrary penetrative lineations to be added to the geology. These lineations are not associated in any way with any other deformation, and do not displace the geology in any way, they are merely available as extra linear orientation markers, and as such could be used to represent flow directions in a sandstone or more typically a lineation not otherwise associated with a deformation event.
