Grain& domain SPO controlled by Micro-shear zones

With the knowledge about strain distribution on intergranular Scale the preservation of stable grain and domain SPOs can be explained. Grain dissection by newly formed Sb microshears and the rotation of these microshears is responsible for the preservation of the steeply oriented grain SPO. The domainal steady state SPO is maintained by the slower rotating Sa microshears which derived from the rotating Sb microshear zones. Note that additionally the dynamic recrystallization mechanisms (especially gbm) also contribute to the  formation of the SPO's.
